Thank you again, everyone, for your kindness and patience while we navigated our recent Covid-19 exposure. We have been cleared from our quaruntine, and therefore will be re-opening! We are so glad to be able to resume our normal hours and return to regular appointments.
Starting this Saturday, November, 28th 2020 Denbigh Animal Hospital will resume their normal business hours. We will be open for appointments, scheduled walk-in procedures, medication and food pick up, and groomging Monday - Friday 7:30am - 6:00pm and Saturdays for walk ins 8:00am - 12 noon.
If you had an appointment or surgery that was canceled in the past several weeks and has not yet been rescheduled, please call us at 757-877-8339 and we can get you rescheduled as soon as possible. At this time we will resume our previous protocol of having limited clientele and pets in the building at one time, so please call us when you arrive and we will instruct you on how to procede.
***UPDATE Temporary Closure ****
An employee at Denbigh Animal Hospital has tested positive for Covid-19. Following CDC and AVMA guidelines we will remain closed for routine appointments until Monday, November 16th, 2020.
We will, however, have limited doctor's hours for sick patients starting Thursday, November 12th, 2020. We will also have limited staff available for telemedicine and phone consults during the hours of 8am - 2pm the remainder of the week. Please call us at 757-877-8339 between 8am - 2pm for more information.

Update May 6, 2020***
First we would like to thank everyone for their kindness and patience during this very confusing time. Starting Wednesday, May 6, 2020 we will be opening during our regular hours, weekdays 7:30am - 6pm; and Saturdays 8am - 12 noon.
Please continue to offer us the courtesy of notifying us if you have recently been out of the country, or if you or anyone you have been in direct contact with has respiratory symptoms. We will discuss ahead of scheduling an appointment a specific plan to help meet you and your pet's needs while at the same time keeping you, our staff, and our fellow clients safe.
We also ask, for everyone's safety, that you please wear a mask/ face covering when entering our building.
We will now resume wellness exams, baths/grooming, and are available to schedule other services that were put on hold over the past few weeks.
Procedures that would normally be seen as "walk - ins" (fluid administration, nail trims, blood draws, and some vaccines) will be available as scheduled day of appointments. Please call ahead at 757-877-8339 for more information.
At this time, for all appointments, grooming services, and "walk-ins", we will continue using our "Treatment Transfer" Service to limit the number of people in our lobby to one or two at a time. Please call us when you arrive at 757-877-8339 and we will give you directions on how to proceed.
